An event isn't secured on the day itself. It's planned in advance: capacity, access points, entry and exit flow, managing alcohol, coordination with the emergency services. We provide guards licensed by CNAPS (France's private-security regulator) and a named team leader, from the village concert to festivals with several thousand people.

01 · Duties
What our guards handle at an event
A post isn't just a presence: it's a written assignment, with instructions agreed with you ahead of the big day.
Crowd flow management
Managing queues, easing bottlenecks, directing the public, and preventing crowd surges at critical moments (doors opening, headline act, end of the night).
Securing restricted areas
Backstage, dressing rooms, the control desk, technical areas, drinks storage: access filtered by accreditation only — no one gets in because they "know someone".
General surveillance and prevention
Spotting risky behaviour, managing intoxicated guests, defusing conflicts before they escalate. Almost every incident is resolved just by talking.
Car parks and surrounding areas
Directing parking, watching over vehicles, securing pedestrian routes between the car park and the entrance, including after closing.
Evacuation and emergency coordination
Knowledge of the exits, leading an evacuation if necessary, liaison with the fire brigade, the ambulance service and the police.
02 · Sizing
How we size an event security deployment
There is no universal rule such as "one guard per hundred people". The right number depends on six factors we systematically review.
Capacity and its arrival pattern
A thousand people arriving over three hours do not need the same staffing as a thousand people arriving in twenty minutes. It is the peak influx that determines the size of the entry team, not the total number.
The layout of the venue
Number of access points to be staffed, whether the site is enclosed or open, changes in level, a body of water, dark areas. An open site always needs more staff than an indoor venue.
The audience profile and alcohol
A trade show, a village dance and a rap concert do not call for the same deployment. Whether there is a bar, and what time it closes, both matter a great deal.
Timings and the end of the night
Incidents almost always happen between last orders and the last vehicle leaving. The deployment has to hold until then, not just until the end of the concert.

Three scenarios we often encounter
Open site, several days
Unenclosed site, camping, several stages: the deployment combines static posts at the access points, mobile teams inside, and reinforced presence during the night shifts. The key question is how porous the perimeter is.
Fixed capacity, entry peak
Everything hinges on the doors-open time and the headcount. An undersized entry set-up creates a queue that spills onto the public highway — putting you in breach before the show has even started.
Badge screening, day and night
Accreditation checks, overnight guarding of stands between two days, surveillance of demonstration areas where the equipment on display has real value. A more discreet assignment, but one that runs over several days.

How many guards do I need for my event?
We never give a figure before asking the six questions described above. Serious sizing takes account of the peak influx, the number of access points, whether the site is open or enclosed, the audience profile, whether alcohol is served, and the real closing times.
Describe your event to us: we'll propose a reasoned headcount, neither inflated to push up the bill nor cut back to win the contract.
Do you need to declare the presence of security guards to the prefecture?
The declaration to the prefecture concerns the event itself, not the security provider. Depending on the nature and capacity of your event, a declaration or an authorisation may be required, and the prefecture may then ask for a minimum security deployment.

Can your guards search bags or carry out pat-downs?
Visual bag inspection and security pat-downs are strictly governed by the French Internal Security Code (Code de la sécurité intérieure). They require the person's consent, and a pat-down also requires the guard to hold a specific accreditation and, in some cases, a prefectural authorisation linked to the circumstances.
Let us know if your event needs this level of control: we'll tell you what is legally possible in your configuration, and we'll assign guards who hold the required accreditation.
Do you cover single-evening events?
Yes, with no minimum of several days. A corporate evening, an opening, a dance, a match: these are routine assignments. Billing is by the hour and per guard, with the legal night or Sunday premiums clearly identified.
When should you contact us?
Ideally as soon as the date and venue are confirmed, even if the capacity is not yet known: this lets us book the guards. In practice, we regularly handle requests just a few days before the event — call us, we'll give you a straight answer.
